Compass 2019 Fall Retreat
About
Every year, Compass gathers over 1,700 of its top agents for a week-long retreat of seminars, networking, and experiences designed to inspire. In 2019, the event came to Miami — taking over iconic venues including the Fillmore and Hard Rock Stadium for a full week of brand-driven moments at scale.
Challenges
With less than two months on the clock and 130+ deliverables spanning print, environmental design, event activations, and animation, the challenge wasn't just output — it was building a cohesive brand experience across a dozen venues and touchpoints simultaneously. Every decision had to be intentional. We approached the project systematically, identifying where a unified design language could do the heavy lifting and allow the team to move fast without sacrificing craft. Even when the work pushed us into unfamiliar territory — like large-format vinyl installation at Hard Rock Stadium — we leaned on process and problem-solving to deliver. The doors opened to 1,700 agents on time, and every piece of it felt considered.
Role + Team
I served as Creative Director and Project Manager, owning both the creative vision and the operational execution across the full scope of the event. Leading a lean team through an aggressive timeline, I was responsible for keeping every deliverable on brand, on schedule, and installed — sometimes literally. This project was as much a test of leadership under pressure as it was a creative challenge, and it's one of the clearest examples of what I bring to high-stakes, high-volume work.
